Where to Eat... |
|
Breakfast |
Start your day with breakfast from Rose Donuts & Café. Their breakfast burrito is AWESOME. It will definitely keep you full until lunchtime. Service is great and fast. Usually you don’t have to wait very long to be seated. |
Lunch |
Stop at Sonia's Kitchen and pick up some sandwiches to go so that you can enjoy while at Lake Cunningham. One of my personal favorites is the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It’s unbelievable how much deliciousness is packed in there. |
Dinner |
Vin Santo is the ultimate place to dine while visiting Sacramento. They have a full course menu and smaller dishes on the chef’s menu. Very fine restaurant, filled with excellent service, great food, and fine décor. |
What to Do... |
|
Morning |
Head downtown and visit the San Jose Museum of Art. Admissions are complimentary and you will find great pieces and exhibitions from many different artists. It allows you to learn a little bit about San Jose’s culture. Spend a couple of morning hours at the museum getting lost in the art. |
Afternoon |
Lake Cunningham Park on a sunny day is the place to go. Admission into the park is free however during the summer they do charge $6 fee per car. Inside the park there are trails, picnic areas and the beautiful lake. Also within the lake you will find Raging Waters, which is a really fun water park. A lot of the park visitors come to Lake Cunningham to ride the different slides and swim in the pool areas inside of Raging Waters. |
Evening |
Ready for some mystery and adventure? Winchester Mystery House in Santa Row is the place to go. You will find yourself in an old Victorian house that has doors opening into walls and others that if you don’t watch out, you could fall into thin air. There is an admission to take the tour but a really exciting way to end your visit in San Jose. |
